Relationship Readings
The following lectures will help you learn how to give relationship astrology readings using Steven’s evolutionary approach. At this stage you’ll want to feel comfortable doing natal readings before learning how two charts work together.
In relationship readings there are two main techniques: synastry and composite. Synastry refers to the dynamics that arise when two charts intersect. For instance, if one partner has a Sun at 6° Taurus and the other partner has their Venus at 6° Taurus, then using synastry, together they have a Sun-Venus conjunction.
The composite chart is actually a 3rd chart that is created by calculating the intersections between the two charts. The composite chart describes the relationship itself and may look very different from either partner’s chart.
